Tracking
Following your parcel
What each reference is for, and when each one starts to exist.
Two different numbers
Order ID
- Issued by us on your order confirmation email
- Use it in any message to us
- It exists from the moment the order is confirmed
Tracking number
- Issued by the courier once the parcel is collected
- Use it on the courier website
- It does not exist until dispatch, which is 1-2 business days after ordering
What happens when
- Handling. Nothing appears on a courier site for the first 1-2 business days because the parcel has not reached a courier yet.
- Dispatch. When the courier collects we email the tracking number. Transit then runs 3-9 business days depending on the destination.
- Past the estimate. Once 4-11 business days has elapsed, contact [email protected] with both references and the chase becomes ours rather than yours.
Routing, in practice
A two-parcel order generates two tracking numbers. If only one has moved, the other is usually still with the textile packer rather than lost.
